I think simply, as the Catholic Catechism says, lift my mind and heart to God and doing our best to follow His will.
Good Comment!
To love God I need to love others as they are apart of him. Sometimes that is hard.
Great comment, your on the right track.
Very interesting. It makes me think of the seven Celtic things you posted about – when I love God I have hope, and having hope is (in some situations) a way to love God. When I love all people equally, I love God. When I consider God’s mystery through prayer or contemplation, I love God. When I take care of the earth and act with care in my day to day living, I am loving God because I am honouring the uniqueness of His creation. When I realise that God is not far away just because I stepped outside of church, or because I’m sorting laundry… you get the idea 🙂
This reminds me of a poem I wrote last year. I’ll dig it out and post it on my blog. I wondered when it might be the right time to share it. Thanks – always interesting and always thought-provoking.
Thanks for your input, and look forward to reading your poem.
