If you want to do right
and to obey my teaching
with all your heart,
then pay close attention.
Don’t be discouraged
when others insult you
and say hurtful things.

Question – Have I let the criticism of others take me away from the work of God?
Prayer – Lord, lift the weight of discouragement from my shoulders and give me the encouragement that comes with my closeness to you. Such a closeness is forged by following your word and paying heed to your spirit that dwells with me. Help me this day to have a keen awareness of you in me. Amen
