Day Fourteen
Come to him, a living stone, though rejected by mortals yet chosen and precious in God’s sight, and like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Lord, Open my eyes so that I may see beyond my mortal nature. Help me to recognize the works of the living stone in this world. The living stone goes places and does things I could never do. My Lenten prayer is that I can recognize the living stone in the affairs of the world.
